Who is this qualification for?
This qualification is aimed at individuals wishing
to earn extra income or start a new career in the Private Security Industry.
You then have a choice of sectors you may be able to work in, such as a
Concierge, Construction Sites, Event Steward, Door Supervisor, Dog Handler,
Mobile Response, Railway Industry to name but a few.
How long will it take?
To complete this qualification learners should
expect to undertake approximately 45 hours of learning. The
SIA stipulates a minimum of 32.5 contact hours if supported distance
learning is undertaken over a minimum of 4 training days.
